01 The Service

GhostConnect VPN is a personal VPN service operated as a trading name of its sole trader owner, based in the United Kingdom. By creating an account and using GhostConnect VPN, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

We provide encrypted VPN tunnelling through the WireGuard protocol, delivered via a personal configuration file generated for your account. We offer a free tier and a premium subscription.

02 Acceptable Use

GhostConnect VPN is provided for lawful purposes only. By using our service, you agree that you will use it only in ways that comply with the laws of your country and jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the VPN is lawful where you are located.

The VPN is intended for legitimate privacy and security use cases, including protecting your connection on public WiFi, safeguarding personal data, and maintaining general online privacy.

03 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use GhostConnect VPN for any of the following:

  • Any illegal activity under the laws of your country or jurisdiction
  • Accessing, downloading, or distributing child sexual abuse material or any illegal content
  • Copyright infringement, piracy, or unauthorised distribution of protected content
  • Hacking, cracking, or gaining unauthorised access to computer systems or networks
  • Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or conducting phishing attacks
  • Harassment, stalking, threatening, or abusing individuals
  • Identity theft, fraud, or financial crime of any kind
  • Distributing malware, ransomware, or any malicious software
  • Conducting denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against any target

Violation of these rules will result in immediate account termination without refund and may be reported to relevant authorities.

04 Subscriptions & Payments

Premium subscriptions are available on the following terms:

  • Monthly — $9.99 per month, billed on the same date each month
  • Annual — $79.99 per year, billed annually (saving over 33% vs monthly)

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Billing page. Upon cancellation, you will retain Premium access until the end of your current paid billing period, after which your account will revert to the free plan.

Your VPN config file will continue to work on the free plan after cancellation — at the free tier speed limit of 10 Mbps.

05 Free Tier

The free tier is provided at no cost with the following limitations:

  • Speed limited to 10 Mbps
  • 1 device connection at a time
  • 1 server location

We reserve the right to modify the free tier limits or discontinue the free tier with 30 days' notice. The zero-logs policy applies equally to all free and premium users.

06 Refunds

We do not offer refunds for partial months of service. If you cancel a monthly subscription mid-cycle, you will retain access until the end of that billing period — no refund will be issued for the remaining days.

For annual subscriptions, refund requests made within 14 days of initial payment will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at support@ghostconnectvpn.com.

Accounts terminated for violations of these Terms are not eligible for refunds.

07 Service Availability

We aim to maintain maximum uptime but do not guarantee 100% service availability. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for any losses, damages, or costs resulting from service interruptions, downtime, or outages.

08 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without notice and without refund. You may delete your own account at any time from your Account Settings page.

Upon account deletion:

  • Your VPN configuration is immediately deactivated
  • Your personal data is deleted within 30 days
  • Payment records may be retained as required by UK tax law

09 Limitation of Liability

GhostConnect VPN is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, security breaches caused by third parties, or service interruptions.

Our total liability to you in connection with the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10 Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of GhostConnect VPN complies with the laws of your own country or jurisdiction. We make no representation that the service is appropriate or legal for use in all locations.

11 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
